Raptors Win 4th Straight 92-88 Over Knicks, Nets Defeat Nuggets

The Toronto Raptors defeated the New York Knicks 92-88 to win their fourth straight National Basketball Association game.

The Knicks (32-18) remain atop the Eastern Conference’s five-team Atlantic Division, 2 1/2 games ahead of the Brooklyn Nets (31-22), who defeated the visiting Denver Nuggets 119-108.

Reserve Alan Anderson scored 26 points and DeMar DeRozan added 20 points for the Raptors (21-32) at Madison Square Garden in New York. Toronto rallied from a 42-37 halftime deficit.

Knicks reserve J.R. Smith scored 26 points and Raymond Felton added 16 points. Carmelo Anthony had 12 points on 5-for- 24 shooting, as well as 12 rebounds.

At the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Joe Johnson had 26 points for the Nets. C.J. Watson, filling in for the injured Deron Williams, added 25 and Brook Lopez contributed 23 points. Johnson and Watson each hit five 3-pointers for the Nets, who went 16-for-27 on 3-pointers and had their season high in points.

Ty Lawson scored 26 for the Nuggets and Jordan Hamilton added 15 points.
