Japanese Stocks Rise After Bank of Japan Decision

Japan’s Nikkei 225 Stock Average advanced after the Bank of Japan held its asset-purchase fund at 76 trillion yen.

The Nikkei 225 gained 0.5 percent to 11,306.91 as of 12:41 p.m. in Tokyo. The Topix Index added less than 0.1 percent to 957.36.
