Euro Extends Drop as Report Shows Region’s Recession Deepened

The euro extended its decline against the dollar and yen after a report showed the region’s recession deepened.

The currency slid 0.8 percent to $1.3340 as of 10:03 a.m. London time. It weakened 0.7 percent to 124.80 yen.
