ED&F Man Takes Delivery of 115,900 Tons of White Sugar

ED&F Man Capital Market Ltd. took delivery of 2,318 contracts against the expired March white sugar futures contract on NYSE Liffe in London, according to data on the exchange’s website.

The delivery is equivalent to 115,900 metric tons. The sweetener was all from Guatemala and will be delivered by Sucden Financial Ltd., according to an interim report published by NYSE Liffe. The delivery against the December contract was 8,496 lots, or 424,800 tons, the biggest since 2007. A final report on the tender will be published tomorrow, according to the exchange.
