Bulawayo, Zimbabwe’s biggest city after Harare, plans to ease water rationing-restrictions after better-than-expected rains fell in the southwest African nation, Mayor Thaba Moyo said.
The cuts will be reduced to 72 hours a week starting Feb. 11 from 96 previously, Moyo said in phone interview from Bulawayo.
More than 100 companies closed and 20,000 jobs were lost because of the water crisis in Bulawayo, which has plagued the city since 2010, the Harare-based Standard reported Oct. 14
