Canada’s Harper Says He Expects 2013 Jobs to Be Positive
Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper said that while he’s disappointed about job losses in January the trend in recent months has been positive.
Speaking to reporters near Vancouver, Harper said he’s optimistic the “pattern” for jobs will continue to be positive in 2013.
Statistics Canada reported today employment fell by 21,900 in January, the first decline in six months.
