Hidroconstructia Wins Water-Upgrade Contract in Romanian Town

Hidroconstructia SA, a Romanian construction company, was awarded a 26.6 million lei ($8 million) contract to upgrade the water and sewage system in the western town of Pecica.

Apa Arad SA, the Romanian utility that awarded the contract, will use funds from the European Union to help finance the improvements, according to a European Union procurement notice published today.
