BlackBerry CEO Heins Says Signs Pointing in Right Direction

BlackBerry Chief Executive Officer Thorsten Heins said early sales of the Z10 smartphone are “encouraging” and that users are switching from other platforms.

“All signs are pointing in the right direction,” for a company that was considered “dead” just two quarters ago, Heins said today in an interview on Canada’s Business News Network television in Toronto. Canadian retailers and carriers begin selling the new phone today.
