Trisul Drops to Four-Week Low as Quarterly Sales Slip
Trisul SA (TRIS3) fell to a four-week low as the Brazilian homebuilder reported a 33 percent decline in fourth-quarter sales.
Shares dropped 4.4 percent to 3.23 reais at the close of trading in Sao Paulo, the lowest level since Jan. 7. The Bovespa benchmark index fell 1.3 percent.
Fourth-quarter sales were 122 million reais ($61 million), the Sao Paulo-based company said today in a regulatory filing giving preliminary results for the period. Sales for the last quarter of 2011 were 182.6 million reais, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
Shares have climbed 9.9 percent in the past year, while the Bovespa fell 8.7 percent in the same period.
