Samsung Total Said to Buy Naphtha for First-Half March Delivery

Samsung Total Petrochemicals Co. bought about 25,000 metric tons of naphtha for delivery in the first half of March to South Korea, according to two traders who participate in the market.

The company paid a premium of about $23 to $24 a ton to Japan benchmark prices, the traders said, asking not to be identified because the information is confidential.
