European Coal for 2014 Increases to Highest Level in Two Weeks

European coal for 2014 delivery rose to the highest level in almost two weeks.

Thermal coal for 2014 delivery to Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Antwerp gained as much as 0.7 percent to $100.65 a metric ton, the highest since Jan. 15, according to broker data compiled by Bloomberg. The contract traded at $100.45 as of 10:15 a.m. in London.
