German 10-Year Bunds Decline as Business Confidence Index Climbs

German 10-year bunds declined as a report showed business confidence in Europe’s largest economy rose for a third month in January.

The 10-year yield rose two basis points to 1.59 percent at 9:07 a.m. London time. The two-year note yield was little changed at 0.19 percent.

The Ifo institute’s business climate index, based on a survey of 7,000 executives, climbed to 104.2 from 102.4 in December.
