French, Dutch, Austrian 2-Year Notes Decline After ECB Loan Data

Two-year notes from France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria declined after the European Central Bank said 278 banks will hand back 137.2 billion euros of its three-year loans next week.

The yield on France’s two-year note climbed six basis points, or 0.06 percentage point, to 0.27 percent at 11:31 a.m. London time, while the rate on similar-maturity Austrian securities rose four basis points to 0.25 percent.

Two-year yields on debt from the Netherlands advanced four basis points to 0.29 percent, while Belgium’s two year rate increased five basis points to 0.42 percent.
