British Pound Advances Against Dollar to Trade at $1.5815

The pound advanced against the dollar, rising 0.2 percent to $1.5815 at 2:57 p.m. London time, after falling as much as 0.3 percent to $1.5746.

Sterling fell 0.5 percent to 85.16 pence per euro.
