Brook Lopez scored 22 points to lead the Brooklyn Nets to a 91-83 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in the National Basketball Association.
The Nets are second the Eastern Conference’s five-team Atlantic Division with a 26-16 record, a half game behind the New York Knicks. Minnesota fell to 17-22 to remain in last place in the Western Conference’s Northwest Division, 14 1/2 games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Deron Williams and Joe Johnson each scored 18 points and C.J. Watson came off the bench to add 14 points for the Nets at Target Center in Minneapolis. Brooklyn has won three straight games and 10 of its past 11.
Andrei Kirilenko had 15 points and Dante Cunningham contributed 14 for the Timberwolves.
