BC LNG Agrees to Sell 700,000 Tons LNG a Year, Globe & Mail Says

BC LNG Export Cooperative agreed to sell gas from its planned Douglas Channel project to Golar LNG and LNG Partners, the Globe & Mail reported on its website yesterday, citing Tom Tatham, BC LNG’s managing director.
* Contract pricing to be based on North American spot prices: Globe & Mail * Final investment decision for project near Kitimat, British Columbia, could be made in the next few months * Deals for delivery of about half the LNG to Asian buyers to be finalized in the next week or two: Globe & Mail
