Hong Kong to Spend HK$10 Billion to Phase Out Diesel Vehicles

Hong Kong plans to set a service- life limit of 15 years for newly registered diesel commercial vehicles, Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying said in his first policy address today.
The city’s priority is to improve roadside air quality, Leung said. The government will also consider law to enforce vessels fuel switch at berth, he said.
