Trial of Gaddafi Officials Over Protesters’ Deaths Postponed

The trial of three senior Muammar Gaddafi-era officials accused of crimes related to last year’s uprising was postponed until next month, state-run Libyan official news agency reported today.

The trial of former Prime Minister Al-Baghdadi Al-Mahmoudi and former officials al-Mabrouk Zahmoul and Amer Terfas was adjourned until Feb. 11, LANA reported. The officials are facing charges of “inciting to kill civilians, financially supporting the former regime, corruption and abuse of authority,” it said.
