Romanian State Assets Estimated at $257 Billion, ZF Reports

Romania’s government has appraised the country’s total state-owned assets, which include companies, land and buildings, at 841 billion lei ($257 billion), Ziarul Financiar reported today, citing Liviu Voinea, minister delegate for budget.
Voinea said the estimated value of the state-owned companies alone totals about 262 billion lei, according to the Bucharest-based newspaper.
