ArcelorMittal to Invest $11 Million in Romanian Plant

A Romanian unit of ArcelorMittal (MT) plans to invest about 8.5 million euros ($11 million) this year to increase work safety at its steel plant in the eastern city of Galati.

ArcelorMittal Galati plans to eliminate work-related accidents through the investment program, the company said in an e-mailed statement today.
