Lithuanian December Inflation Unchanged at 2.8% on Communication

Lithuanian inflation was unchanged on an annual basis in December at 2.8 percent for a second month as communication costs fell.
Consumer prices dropped 0.1 percent from the previous month, the statistics office in the capital, Vilnius, said in an e-mailed statement today. The average annual inflation rate was 3.1 percent last year, compared with 4.1 percent in 2011, the statistics office said in the statement.
