Montenegro is in talks with China’s Poly Group (600048), Bechtel Group Inc., a U.S. construction and development firm, and the European Investment Bank to build a highway through the Balkan country, Poslovni Dnevnik reported on its website, citing Transport Minister Ivan Brajovic.
The building of the 170-kilometer (105-mile) highway from Bar on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast to Boljari, on the border with Serbia, could start in the second half of the year, Brajovic said, according to the Zagreb-based business newspaper.
