The Charlotte Bobcats snapped their 18-game National Basketball Association losing streak with a 91-81 road victory over the Chicago Bulls.

It was Charlotte’s first win since Nov. 24 against the Washington and helped the Bobcats (8-23) surpass their win total from their 7-59 campaign in 2011-12.

The Brooklyn Nets yesterday lost their first game since P.J. Carlesimo replaced Avery Johnson as coach, getting routed 104-73 by the San Antonio Spurs. The Miami Heat beat the Orlando Magic 112-110 in overtime as LeBron James had 36 points and 11 assists, while the Houston Rockets snapped a two-game losing skid with a 123-104 win over the Atlanta Hawks.
