Australia Routs Sri Lanka to Clinch Test Cricket Series Victory

Australia beat Sri Lanka by an innings and 201 runs to take an unbeatable 2-0 lead in their Test cricket series.

Mitchell Johnson and Jackson Bird each claimed two wickets at the Melbourne Cricket Ground as Australia bowled out Sri Lanka for 103 after making 460 in reply to the touring team’s first-innings 156.

Sri Lanka batsman Kumar Sangakkara retired hurt when on 27, while Prasanna Jayawardene and Chanaka Welegedara were unable to bat again after getting injured earlier in the match.
