China Manufacturing Contracts for First Time in Seven Months

Obama Said to Plan Departing Hawaii on Dec. 26 for Budget Talks

President Barack Obama plans to leave his Hawaii vacation Dec. 26 and return to Washington, a White House aide said today.

Obama will arrive in Washington on Dec. 27. Congress will return the same day to continue negotiations on averting the fiscal cliff.

The White House aide spoke on condition of anonymity.
