Gamesa to Supply 3 Turbines for Renewable Energy Project

Gamesa Corp. Tecnologica SA (GAM), Spain’s biggest maker of wind turbines, agreed to supply three turbines to Renewable Energy Generation Ltd. (WIND) for a project in the U.K.

Renewable Energy’s Burnthouse Farm in Cambridgeshire will use Gamesa’s two-megawatt G80 turbines and be completed by mid-2013, the Jersey, Channel Islands-based developer said today in a statement. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed.
