Volcano on Argentina-Chile Border Spits Ash, La Tercera Says

Copahue volcano on the border of Argentina and Chile is emitting clouds of ash, La Tercera reported, citing Mines Minister Hernan de Solminihac.

The activity was on the Argentine side of the border, the Santiago-based newspaper reported on its website. Chilean authorities declared an orange alert, which restricts flights in the area, La Tercera reported.
