Pound Stays Lower Versus Dollar After U.K. Growth Revised Down

The pound stayed lower against the dollar after a report showed Britain’s economy grew less than previously estimated in the third quarter.
The pound was 0.2 percent weaker at $1.6248 at 9:35 a.m. London time. It was little changed at 81.29 pence per euro.
Gross domestic product rose 0.9 percent from the second quarter, down from a previous estimate of 1 percent, the Office for National Statistics said today in London.
