JPMorgan Promotes Owen to CFO of Consumer, Community Banking
Dec. 21 (Bloomberg) -- JPMorgan Chase & Co. named David Owen to be chief financial officer of the firm’s consumer and community banking unit, after predecessor Marianne Lake was promoted as part of a management overhaul.
Owen, who joined the company in 2011 as CFO of the consumer bank, will also become a member of the firmwide management team, the New York-based lender said today in a statement. Lake was selected last month to become the company’s CFO in the first quarter of 2013.
Owen previously worked for Charlotte, North Carolina-based Bank of America Corp.’s consumer division. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Airborne School.
JPMorgan said it will announce a successor for his consumer CFO role in coming weeks.
