Peru Gold Export Revenue Declines 17.2% in Oct. as Volumes Fall

Peru’s gold-export revenue dropped 17.2 percent in October from a year earlier on lower shipments, the central bank said.
Gold sales of 429,900 ounces fell to $751 million from 544,300 ounces worth $907 million, the bank said in a statement posted on its website today. Copper sales of 119,700 metric tons rose 12.5 percent to $891 million, the bank said. Total metal exports slid 9.2 percent to $2.09 billion.
