Formosa Petrochemical Buys End-January Naphtha Cargo for Mailiao

Formosa Petrochemical Corp. (6505) bought naphtha for delivery to Mailiao, Taiwan, at the end of January, according to a company official.

Formosa bought a cargo of unspecified volume at a premium of $11 to $12 a metric ton to Japan benchmark prices, the official said, asking not to be identified because of company policy.
