Everest Re Says Superstorm Sandy May Cost It $220 Million

Everest Re Group Ltd., the Bermuda- based insurer and reinsurer, said losses from superstorm Sandy are about $220 million.

The figure is after taxes and fueled by reinsurance, Everest Re said today in a statement distributed by Business Wire.
