Lakers’ Pau Gasol to Start Against Bobcats in Return From Injury

The Los Angeles Lakers’ Pau Gasol will start tonight’s game against the Charlotte Bobcats after being out since Dec. 3 with tendinitis in his knees, according to the team’s website.

Coach Mike D’Antoni said Gasol responded well to a practice yesterday so he will start tonight. The four-time All-Star is averaging 12.6 points and 8.8 rebounds in 17 games. The Lakers are 11-13 and in third place in the National Basketball Association’s Pacific Division.
