UBS’s Ziglio Leaves Role as Fixed-Income Strategist in London

Gianluca Ziglio, a fixed-income strategist at UBS AG (UBSN), Switzerland’s biggest bank, has left the firm after more than two years.

London-based Ziglio confirmed by e-mail today that he was made redundant from the Zurich-based lender on Dec. 14. UBS spokesman Oliver Gadney declined to comment when contacted by e- mail.

Ziglio worked at UBS from June 2010 and was previously employed by WestLB AG and Goldman Sachs Group Inc, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
