New York Mets Trade Pitcher R.A. Dickey to Toronto for 4 Players

The New York Mets traded Cy Young Award winner R.A. Dickey and two catchers to the Toronto Blue Jays for four players including catcher Travis d’Arnaud.

The Mets said in an e-mailed release that they also will receive catcher John Buck, right-handed pitcher Noah Syndergaard and outfielder Wuilmer Becerra as part of the deal.

The Blue Jays will receive catchers Josh Thole and Mike Nickeas in addition to the 38-year-old Dickey.
