Butler Upsets No. 1 Indiana 88-86 in Overtime on Barlow’s Shot

Alex Barlow hit a 6-foot shot with two seconds remaining in overtime to help Butler University beat college basketball’s top-ranked Indiana University 88-86 in Indianapolis yesterday.

Barlow, a sophomore walk-on, finished with a career-high six points for Butler (8-2). Rotnei Clark added 19 points and Roosevelt Jones had 16 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists.

Cody Zeller scored 18 points for Indiana (9-1), including a layup that tied the score with fewer than 20 seconds left in overtime. Victor Oladipo also had 18 points.
