Australia Leads Sri Lanka by 363 Runs in Opening Cricket Test

Mike Hussey’s unbeaten century helped Australia take a 363-run lead on Sri Lanka on day two of their opening cricket Test.

Hussey scored 115, his third century in his past four Tests, as Australia delcared on 450-5 in its first innings in Hobart. Matthew Wade was 68 not out and captain Michael Clarke scored 74 for the host, which resumed today 299-4.

Sri Lanka was reduced to 87-4 at stumps as Nathan Lyon took the wicket of Thilan Samaraweera with the final ball of the day. Tillakaratne Dilshan will be on 50 when play resumes tomorrow.

The teams are also scheduled to play matches in Melbourne and Sydney. Sri Lanka failed to win any of its previous 10 Tests in Australia.
