Serbia Extends Detention of Miskovic to 30 Days, RTS Says

A Serbian judge extended the detention of the country’s richest man, Miroslav Miskovic, his son and five associates to 30 days as a corruption probe widened, state-run broadcaster reported, citing the prosecutor.

Miskovic, 67, his son Marko and five others from the group of 10 men apprehended Dec. 12 on suspicion of illegally earning more than 30 million euros ($39 million) will be held as an investigation continues about privatized road companies, Radio Televizija Srbije reported, citing prosecutor Miljko Radisavljevic.
