Peabody Says First-Quarter Sales Will Decline by 2 Million Tons

Peabody Energy Corp. said first- quarter 2013 coal sales in the U.S. will drop by about 2 million tons.

U.S. sales volumes will be 180 million to 190 million tons next year, compared with targeted 2012 sales of 188 million to 192 million tons, the company said today in a statement.
