Canada 3Q Foreign Debt Rises to C$296.6 Billion

Canada’s net international debt increased in the third quarter on rising borrowing from abroad, government figures show.

The shortfall widened by C$53.7 billion ($54.5 billion) to C$296.6 billion, Statistics Canada said in Ottawa today.
