Tony Parker Leads NBA-Best San Antonio Spurs Past Houston, Lin
Tony Parker had 27 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 134- 126 overtime victory last night at the Houston Rockets, who got a career-high-tying 38 points from Jeremy Lin.
Gary Neal scored 29 points, including seven 3-pointers, as the Spurs improved their National Basketball Association-best record to 18-4. The Rockets fell to 9-11 with the loss at the Toyota Center.
The Spurs have won five straight games and improved to 11-2 on the road this season.
The defending-champion Miami Heat are 14-5 after a 101-92 home win against the Atlanta Hawks. The Heat are a half-game behind the New York Knicks (15-5) for the best record in the Eastern Conference.
