Australia Ex-Speaker Wins Dismissal of Harassment Suit, SMH Says

Peter Slipper, the former speaker of Australia’s parliament, won a dismissal of a sexual harassment lawsuit in the Federal Court, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

Federal Court Justice Steven Rares today threw out the lawsuit, filed by Slipper’s former staff member James Ashby, calling it an abuse of the judicial process, the Sydney Morning Herald said.
