Ukraine Third-Quarter GDP Fell 1.3%, Statistics Office Confirms

Ukraine’s economy contracted 1.3 percent from a year earlier in the third quarter, the statistics office said, confirming an initial reading.

Seasonally adjusted GDP also fell 1.3 percent in the July- September period, the office, based in the capital, Kiev, said today in a statement on its website. The construction industry recorded the biggest annual and seasonal decline, according to the release.
