Google Says Some Users Experienced Disruption to E-Mail Service

Google Inc. (GOOG) said some users of its Gmail e-mail service experienced a disruption earlier today, and that the issue has been resolved.
In a Web posting to update users on the status of its services, the company said at 9:30 a.m. San Francisco time that it was investigating reports of an issue with Google Mail. At 10:10 a.m., Google said the problem should be fixed.
“System reliability is a top priority at Google, and we are making continuous improvements to make our systems better,” the Mountain View, California-based company wrote.
