Google Names Don Harrison Head of Mergers Replacing Lawee

Google Inc. is appointing Don Harrison as head of mergers and acquisitions, replacing David Lawee, who is focusing on other business at the company.

Harrison is deputy general counsel at Mountain View, California-based Google, leading the legal team advising on acquisitions and investing, according to a biography on the company’s website.

Katelin Todhunter-Gerberg, a spokeswoman for Google, confirmed the move.

His appointment was previously reported by Reuters.
