Serbia’s Ambassador to NATO Kills Self in Brussels, Blic Says

Branislav Milinkovic, Serbia’s ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, committed suicide at Brussels’ airport late yesterday, Blic newspaper reported, citing a diplomatic official it didn’t name.

Milinkovic, 52, “died tragically” in Brussels, the Foreign Ministry said in an e-mailed statement without elaborating. The diplomat who represented Serbia at NATO since 2009 and previously at the Vienna-based Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, jumped off a parking building, according to the Belgrade-based newspaper.
