McQuilling and Atlas Form New Venture for Ship-Financing

McQuilling Partners Inc., a New York-based shipbroker and consultant, formed a venture with Atlas Holdings Hong Kong Ltd. to arrange financing for shipping transactions.

McQuilling Atlas Advisors will organize funding from private equity, lenders, and alternative finance providers, McQuilling said in an e-mailed statement yesterday. It will also give financial advice during mergers and acquisitions.
