VA Tech Secures Plant Construction Order From Bangalore Water

VA Tech Wabag Ltd. (VATW) said the Indian water and wastewater management company won a seven-year, $39 million plant construction, operation and maintenance order from the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board.

VA Tech, based in Chennai, is a former unit of Siemens AG (SIE) and India’s biggest builder of water-treatment plants. Its shares have surged 61 percent this year.
