Mursi Says Truce Bid to Show Results in Hours, Mena Reports

Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi said today that efforts to achieve a truce between Israel and Hamas will yield positive results within the next few hours, the state-run Middle East News Agency reported.

Mursi said that the Israeli “aggression” on Gaza will end today, MENA and state-run Nile News reported, citing the president’s comments at his sister’s funeral.
