John Gibbons Returns as Manager of Restocked Toronto Blue Jays

John Gibbons was named manager of the Toronto Blue Jays today, returning to run a team that has remade its roster with trades and free-agent signings of All- Stars in the last week.

Gibbons’ hiring was announced by the Major League Baseball team on its Twitter site. He was the Blue Jays’ manager from 2004 to 2008, compiling a 305-305 record.
